Anti-Trafficking & Non-Solicitation Policy

Last updated: 9/17/2026

Version 2026-09-16. Distant Frenz, operated by DISTANTFRENZ LLC, is an 18+ platform for making friends. It is not a dating, companionship-for-hire or adult services platform. The conduct below is absolutely prohibited and is grounds for immediate permanent removal.

Strictly prohibited

  • Human trafficking and sex trafficking — recruiting, harboring, transporting, advertising, soliciting or obtaining any person for labor or commercial sex acts through force, fraud, coercion, or where the person is a minor.
  • Sexual exploitation and abuse — including child sexual abuse material, any sexual content or contact involving a minor, non-consensual intimate imagery, and sextortion.
  • Prostitution and escort services — offering, advertising, arranging or seeking sexual acts in exchange for money, credits, gifts or anything of value.
  • Commercial sexual solicitation — sugar arrangements, "meet for pay" offers, paid companionship, or using credits, tips or paid messages as payment toward any sexual or in-person arrangement.
  • Facilitation — coded language, contact routing, links or off-platform referrals intended to arrange any of the above.

How to report

Every profile, post, story and message has a report option in the app. Reports about trafficking, exploitation or solicitation should use the reporting option and, for urgent situations, also email trust@distantfrenz.com. Reports can be made by anyone, including people who are not Distant Frenz users.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number first. In the United States you can also contact the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888 or text 233733.

How we review and escalate

  • Reports go into a moderation queue that our admin team reviews. Reports flagged as trafficking, exploitation or solicitation are prioritized.
  • A reviewer examines the reported content, the account and its recent activity, and records the decision and the action taken in our internal moderation log.
  • Where a reviewer believes the conduct is credible, the account is suspended or permanently banned and the content is removed. A reviewer may act immediately and review further afterwards.
  • Serious or ambiguous cases are escalated within Distant Frenz to the operator of the platform before a final decision.
  • Users may appeal an enforcement decision in the app; appeals are reviewed by an admin.

Preservation of information

When we take enforcement action for trafficking, exploitation or solicitation, we retain the report, the reviewed content, the moderation decision and associated account records where it is lawful and appropriate to do so, so that the matter can be reviewed later or provided to law enforcement on a valid legal request.

Law enforcement

Where our review identifies credible suspected trafficking, sexual exploitation, or any sexual content involving a minor, we report the matter to the appropriate authorities — including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) for suspected child sexual exploitation — and cooperate with valid legal process from law enforcement. Reporting decisions are made by a human reviewer; we do not operate automated law enforcement reporting.

What we do not claim

We do not monitor private messages in real time, and we do not run background checks on our users. Our controls are: automated screening of uploaded images before they are displayed, in-app reporting, human review of reports, and the enforcement and escalation steps above.
