Version 2026-09-16. This policy explains what you authorize when you create a profile or upload content to Distant Frenz, operated by DISTANTFRENZ LLC.
Your permission to display your content
When you create a profile or upload, post or send content — photos, videos, captions, stories, comments, links, your display name and profile details — you expressly authorize Distant Frenz to store, reproduce, resize and display that profile and content to other users as necessary to operate the platform. That includes showing it in feeds, Explore, Suggested Frenz, Stories, search results, chats you send it to, and previews shared through links you choose to share.
This permission exists only to run the service. It is subject to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and any privacy controls you set on your account. We do not sell your content.
You must have the right to post it
- You confirm you own your content or have permission to use it, and that posting it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
- Everyone shown in a photo or video you upload must be an adult who has agreed to appear on a public social platform.
- Do not post photos of celebrities, models or other people in a way that suggests they are you, or that suggests they endorse or participate in your account. See Acceptable Use for impersonation rules.
- Never post intimate or explicit images of anyone. Distant Frenz is an 18+ but SFW platform.
Screening before content appears
Images uploaded to Distant Frenz are screened automatically before they are shown. Images that appear to break our rules are refused. Images the check is unsure about — including photos that may show a well-known person — are held and not displayed until a member of our team reviews them. If the automated check is unavailable, uploads are held rather than published.
Withdrawing permission
- Delete any post, story, photo or profile field at any time from your profile.
- Delete your whole account from Account settings. Your profile, posts, stories, comments, reactions and follows are deleted.
- Messages you already sent remain in the other person's chat but are blanked out and shown as from a deleted user.
- Payment, earnings, tax, moderation and safety records are kept where we are required to keep them.
- If content of you was posted by someone else without your permission, report it in the app or email trust@distantfrenz.com.
Changes
If we materially change this policy we will publish an updated version here and record your acceptance of the new version.
