1. Eligibility
Distant Frenz is available only to users who are 18 years of age or older. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
2. The Platform
Distant Frenz is a credit-based social platform that lets members connect, post content, and message one another using prepaid in-app credits. Credits are virtual goods sold by Distant Frenz and can only be used inside the platform.
3. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to use the platform for any of the following:
- Posting or transmitting nudity, sexually explicit content, or pornography.
- Soliciting, advertising, or arranging escort, companionship-for-pay, or any in-person sexual services.
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or stalking.
- Illegal activity of any kind, including drug sales, fraud, or trafficking.
- Impersonation, fake profiles, or misrepresentation of identity.
- Automated scraping, spam, or attempts to bypass platform security.
Violations may result in immediate account termination, forfeiture of remaining credits, and reporting to law enforcement where applicable. Credit forfeiture is subject to applicable law and our Refund Policy.
4. Credits
Credits are prepaid digital goods. They have no cash value, are non-transferable between accounts, cannot be redeemed for cash, and do not expire. Credit purchases are generally final and non-refundable once completed. DistantFrenz may issue a refund, reversal, or account adjustment where required by applicable law or where we determine one is appropriate for a duplicate charge, billing error, unauthorized or fraudulent transaction, technical failure, service not properly delivered, or another exceptional circumstance. This does not provide an unrestricted right to a refund. See our Refund Policy for details.
5. Fren earnings, pending period and payouts
When a member spends credits on an eligible monetized interaction with a Fren, the Fren's share is credited to their wallet as Pending earnings. Pending earnings are held for 14 days from the time of the underlying transaction before becoming Available. This holding period allows payments to settle and helps Distant Frenz protect against fraud, disputes and chargebacks, and complete account review.
After the 14-day period, eligible earnings automatically become Available, provided the underlying transaction has not been refunded, reversed, disputed, charged back, flagged for fraud or risk review, or otherwise made ineligible. Earnings subject to an active risk or compliance hold remain pending until that hold is resolved.
Your wallet shows your Total Balance (available plus pending), your Available Balance, and your Pending Balance. Payout minimums and payout eligibility apply to your Available Balance only — pending funds cannot be withdrawn or converted. The minimum payout is $50.00 in Available earnings.
Reaching the $50.00 minimum does not by itself authorize a payout. Before any real-world funds can be processed or disbursed, you must successfully complete identity verification and provide the taxpayer information we are required to collect. Identity verification may require a valid government-issued identification document, selfie or facial verification, and other information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and eligibility. Identity verification may be performed by DistantFrenz and/or an authorized third-party identity verification service. Required tax forms and taxpayer information, including IRS Form W-9 or W-8BEN where applicable, and complete payout information must be provided before payout. A Fren who does not successfully complete required identity and tax verification cannot receive a real-money payout. This payout identity verification is separate from the optional profile verification badge.
Every payout request is subject to account, risk and compliance review when it is requested and is re-checked immediately before approval. If you are no longer eligible at that moment — for example because earnings were refunded, reversed or charged back, a fraud, risk or compliance hold was added, your verification status changed, or your Available Balance no longer covers the request — the payout will not proceed. Only one payout request can be active at a time, and earnings reserved by an active payout request cannot be included in another request.
If an underlying transaction is refunded, reversed or charged back while the related earnings are still pending, those earnings will not become available and will be reversed in your ledger with an audit record. We do not delete transaction history.
6. User content
You retain ownership of content you post but grant Distant Frenz a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and moderate it for the purpose of operating the platform. You are solely responsible for the content you post and warrant that you have the right to post it.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
8. Disclaimers
The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Distant Frenz is not liable for the conduct of any user or any content posted by users.
